Clayoquot Sound was home to the famous war in the woods that in the 1990s that mobilized people from across Canada to unite with First Nations groups in the area against the government of British Columbia to block the clearcut of the ancient and irreplaceable rainforests of Clayoquot Sound.

Fortunately, this was one of the battles that the people won and today Clayoquot Sound is a world-renowned ecotourism destination.

This 3-day nature immersion forest bathing retreat is taking place at the Lone Cone Mountain Hostel and Campground on Meares Island, the unceded territories of the Ahousaht First Nations.
